As we start preparing to bring Jellybean home, I am feeling the need for a little bit of structure and organization in regards to keeping up with Peanut’s tot school. Bringing another baby into the house is going to make it more difficult to spend as much one-on-one time with Peanut as I have been, but I am still determined to make sure she gets that time with me whenever possible.
That means I have to be more organized and intentional about her tot school. The tot school itself can be spontaneous and tot-led (which is the point), but I need to have ideas about what kinds of activities, outings, and supplies I might need before the week begins so that I’m not scrambling at the last minute.
With this in mind, I whipped up a quick and easy Free Printable Tot School Theme Planner.
I can keep track of the different themes I want to cover with her (she is getting so smart, and absorbing everything so fast, and I would love to have actual “curriculum” in mind rather than just “go with the flow” every day), and what our tot school boxes and activities are going to look like that week. Then, I can schedule the themes, and be able to purchase any necessary supplies in advance, and make the boxes for the week ahead of time.
